TELEVISION
Gershon Kingsley composed music for a number of television programs in Germany and the U.S. He received an "Emmy" Award for his work on the highly-acclaimed PBS show "A New Voice in the Wilderness."
The release of Perry and Kingsley's 1966 album "The In Sound From Way Out" caught the attention of Madison Avenue advertisers who now heard the new sounds they had been seeking. Soon, companies such as Coca-Cola and Union Carbide were using the music from this album in their television commercials, and Perrey and Kingsley found themselves in the music-for-advertising business. Kingsley went on to create several more commercials and logos and earned two "Clio" awards for his efforts. He also composed several German commercials. Some audio clips are listed below.
