NEW AGE MUSIC

In the mid-1980's, New Age music took off as a new easy-listening genre that did not pretend to be pop. Instead, it enveloped the listener in deep shadows and glistening sprinkles of pure atmosphere. Relaxing and meditative, New Age music stands to provide balance to our hectic society. Gershon Kingsley, already experienced in producing electronic music, created some remarkable works in this genre. Below is a list of his New Age albums and some audio clips from them.

"Much Silence" was published by Relativity Theory Records in 1987. This album received a great deal of critical praise and was voted as a top-10 New Age record for the year. Some of these songs are also featured on the "Cruisers 1.0" compilation from the Hearts of Space record label. All music written, arranged and perofrmed by Gershon Kingsley.
